Dr Marcus Papadopoulos

Dr Marcus Papadopoulos is the Publisher and Editor of Politics First magazine and an expert on Russia.  He earned his BA, in Law and Modern History, from London Guildhall University, his MA, in Modern History, from Royal Holloway, University of London, and his PhD, in Russian history, from Royal Holloway, University of London.  The title of his doctoral thesis was: "British official perceptions of the Red Army, 1934-1945" and is available at the British Library.  

Dr Papadopoulos is a regular face and name in broadcast and print media, including RT, Press TV, Al Jazeera, Rossiya 24, TASS and RIA Novosti. He discusses matters relating to Russia and the rest of the former Soviet Union, the former Yugoslavia, Syria, international relations in general and British politics.  

His academic paper on Russophobia for the International Likhachov Scientific Conference, and his speech at the House of Lords on the origins of the current tension between America and Russia, received significant coverage.
